Heritage Schools Award

We’re proud to announce that Loseley Fields has been awarded the Heritage Schools Award by Historic England. 

This fantastic recognition celebrates all the work we do in History to engage our pupils with the rich heritage of our local area.

To earn the award, we showcased how we:
• Use local museums, visitors, and historical figures like Jack Phillips, Gertrude Jekyll, and Clara Lambert as part of our history curriculum.
• Run immersive ‘Wow Days’, where children experience historical periods such as WWII and the Titanic era.
• Host inspiring class assemblies where children share the history they have learnt.
• Collaborate with the Surrey History Centre and other schools to strengthen our teaching and deliver an engaging, locally focused History curriculum.

We’re one of only a few schools in the area to receive this award, and we couldn’t be prouder of our amazing staff for all their hard work in developing such exciting History learning!
