Adopt an Author

This term, each of our classes has 'adopted' an author whose books they love. They have each made a display of their books, and our Reading Ambassadors are encouraging everyone to read them.

Orion Class in Year 5 have 'adopted' Jack Meggitt Phillips as they LOVE The Beast & The Bethany books!  Jack visited our school last year and the children all really enjoyed meeting him and Patrick. We also got to present him with an Oscar for Best Funny Book, as voted for by KS2.

We hope you don't mind being adopted, Jack - we promise to treat you better than Ebenezer treated Bethany!
