SCHOOL ORGANISATION

Loseley Fields Primary School is a Foundation school that was formed in September 2005 by the amalgamation of Green Lane Infant School and Binscombe Junior School. There were 250 children on the school roll in January 2012.

During 2005/2006 the school underwent extensive remodelling resulting in up-to-date accommodation and facilities throughout the school in line with the high standards of technology required by a school providing an education in the 21st century.

The school saw the addition of a new classroom block for Year 5 and the construction of a new dining and group room block during 2009.

School Activities
We encourage educational visits and invite theatre companies and outside speakers into school to stimulate the children and support classroom activities. We firmly believe that children derive great benefit from these visits. We may need to ask for contributions from parents to cover the cost of these activities. If the cost of the activity cannot be met the activity may have to be cancelled. In the event that a family has difficulty meeting the payment for any activity planned by the school we would ask you to approach the school office in the greatest confidence.

Road Safety
Our crossing patrol lady is Mrs Lyn Stacey. We insist that unaccompanied children cross Green Lane at the patrol and suggest that parents bringing children to school do likewise.

If you have to drive to school please do not park on the zigzag yellow lines in Green Lane. For safety reasons the school car park may only be used by staff and official visitors to the school.

Parking in the school car park is not allowed under any circumstances unless pre-arranged with the office staff.  This is for the safety of the children and staff and to ensure that the school coach is able to easily and safely get in and out. We will be monitoring the car park for any unauthorised vehicles.

We would also like to remind everyone to be considerate to local residents when dropping off or collecting your children, particularly if you need to park your car. Please do not block driveways or park across access areas.
