SCHOOL MEALS
At lunch time children at Loseley Fields Primary School may either have a hot
cooked school meal or bring packed lunches. For parents who are new to our
school, or whose children have not yet sampled the school meals, we thought it
would be helpful to give you some more information about what is available.
Our catering staff provide a main cooked meal each day, such as a roast dinner,
as well as a healthy alternative if preferred. The main meal consists of a
balanced menu of protein (such as meat or fish), carbohydrate (such as rice or
potatoes), two choices of vegetables as well as salad and bread each day.
Desserts are often home made with alternatives each day such as yoghurt,
biscuit, fruit or cheese and biscuits. Copies of the menus used by our school
kitchen, that are changed weekly, are attached to this section for viewing or
downloading.

The cost of a school meal is £2.00 per day, £10.00 per week and can be paid daily, weekly or termly. All meals must be paid
for in advance. You can pay for meals in cash, by cheque (made payable to
Surrey County Council please) or by electronic transfer (please see further
details below).
Free school meals are available for families in need and details of how to apply
for these are available from the school office.
Meals can also be provided for children who are vegetarians or who have a
special diet recommended by their doctor. Again, please consult the school
office for more details on how to apply for these.
Paying for School meals on-line
School meals may now be paid for on-line using a debit or credit card. Payment
is made through a secure site run by Surrey County Council.
To pay on-line you just need to follow the steps below:
2 Follow the instructions on the page to access “non secondary” payments.
3 On the payment screen you can either enter the school code (ECDE4168) or enter
the school name selected from the drop down list.
4 Enter your child’s details (name, class and amount of payment).
5 When you have checked the details are correct please proceed to the payment card
validation and follow the onscreen instructions.
6 When payment is made you will receive an e-mail confirmation from both WorldPay
and Surrey County Council. The school will also receive confirmation of the
transaction.
We hope that some parents will find this a useful way to pay for school meals.
